The item offered is a miniature,ROMTEK , (15x8mm) SPDT toggle switch. SPDT means single pole double throw. In other words, it has one set of change over contacts. Its most common application is as mains on/off switch for equipments and appliances. The one pole interrupts the live wire of the line. It can be used to switch other electrical signals also -both dc as also ac. It can be fixed on to a panel by making a 3 mm dia. hole and tightened into position by lock nuts provided along with it. The contacts provided are solderable. It is rated for 3A AC or 2ADC, 230 V operation. The switch comes in several colors-blue,black,brown etc. and the color in stock will be supplied
